Remember the Hampton's Beanie?

Ok, maybe you don't... and that's OK.

Because I never really sold or advertised it...

I just made it on a whim one day and was pretty pleased with it!
Well, just the other day, another one of you noticed it... and requested a spin-off!

In a Punky Brewster-ish, Pink & Yellow's type style.
This would require me to create an original beanie.
Never been done before.

Side note: If you remember back when when I wrote this post...
I break out in hives, shut down for a solid 3 hours, and curl into the fetal position
anytime a customer request me to "use my own judgment", "do whatever I think looks best", "decide for them" or to "just surprise me!"

Side-Side note - You probably won't remember that post, because I had all of zero comments on it and probably zero views.

And that's OK.

So after I uncurled and had a cleansing shower, I sat down and just "went with it".

I'm not sure how Punky Brewster-ish it turned out, but it *is* an original.
Never to be reproduced - at least not exactly the same.

I just wanted to share some adorable new pictures from a very talented photographer I have had the pleasure of working with!

I met Carina Olsen via a March '08 due date buddy this past year.
Kat's Photography is located in League City, Texas. I am very envious of anyone in her area that has access to her fresh, modern, clean & sassy talent!

I had admired her work for a long time before being brave enough to ask her if she'd like to do a service swap!

Fortunately, for me, she said yes so I sent her a couple of items and this is the gorgeousness I got back!

I get giddy just looking at them!

But I was referring to my new button that I created in just under 43 hours! You'd never guess that I could get it done so quickly, huh? I mean, with all of it's insanely detailed craziness!

Opportunities

In a recent effort to get more fans and followers, I had a giveaway over on the Facebook Fan Page this last weekend! I had 134 fans when I decided to host a giveaway. Terms and condistions were that the "fans" pass me around (aka pimp me out to all their friends) and get the page up to 150 fans. If they could do that, I agreed to pick 3 winners!

They did it within a few hours!

So then I told them that if we could get up to 200 fans before Sunday night that I would add a 4th winner!
The numbers crept up... and up... and up!

Here I am... less than a week later... with 241.

They got their 4th winner! I have to say, that I had a lot of fun doing it! Here are some pictures of my sophisticated, high tech selection process!

Yeah ,I could have used one of those fancy smancy number generators, but I kinda liked the idea of doing it "old school". I had way more fun this way, too!

My beautiful daughter, Brookyn, volunteered to be my super professional and highly paid assisant. (Her currency was "getting out of homework for an extra five minutes.)
